Workshops, Labs + Community Gatherings
Self Study Lab hosts integrative, community, and educational events for deepening connection, embodied healing, and intentional intimacy in San Diego, CA and occasionally online. We believe access to connection and community is vital for healing and liberation and our events center education, integration, and connection with self to deepen our connections with others through healing, wellness, intimacy, expanding relationship dynamics, rope, and kink.
Events are facilitated from a trauma-informed foundation, and strive to begin promptly at the event start time and end on time. This allows us to co-creating a closed container that each guest can find and determine their own sense of safety, comfort, and opening within. Each event holds space for self selected pay-what-you-can ticket pricing and we offer payment plans and relational equity pricing for most of our higher priced offerings.

MAY'S TOPIC: Exploring Identity + Self Expression
This is monthly community event and dedicated affinity space for the BIPOC community members. During this event we will explore authentic connecting and relating, soft skills, identifying and following curiosities, and open space for practice, play and consensual connection.
Organized + facilitated by Self Study by euni, co-hosted by black, brown, indigenous members in our collective community. We will have introductions and a guided dialog, reviewing of house rules, co-creation of shared agreements and intentions, and information sharing including establishing ethical and consensual connection before open practice + play space begins. Within this space, we will practice identifying and finding our boundaries and openness that allow us to find safety in our explorations.
Each month we will highlight a different topic during our connection hour and then guests will be invited to lab, play, or hang out in ways that feel aligned to them for the remainder of the time.
*Note: To expand a sense of safety and create a container that can allow all people to explore more fluidly, it's requested for you to arrive (15) minutes before the event's start time so that we can ground into the space, review community agreements, and co-create safety + connection in shared space.
All BIPOC + QTBIPOC folks are welcome. This is an all skill level event - and if you're new, this is a great way to get your feet wet!
Feel free to bring a dish, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages to share with the group.
