SPACE is designed to expand how we experience collective spaces.

WHO IT'S FOR:
SPACE is an integrative training for folks who facilitate, guide, coach, teach, and lead individuals and group gatherings such as classes, workshops, retreats, and experiential events.

WHAT'S IT ABOUT:
SPACE is centered on embodying holding space differently in community, wellness, connection, healing, intimacy, pleasure + play so that many identities, experiences, and needs can be held alongside the invitation for individual agency and safety.

WHAT INCLUDED:
SPACE includes 4 live group sessions, an online portal of resources, and guided integrative group practices. The sessions will include discussions + somatic exercises centering expanding how we create containers and design classes, workshops, sessions, and retreats.

WHAT IT IS NOT:
SPACE is not an educational or professional training on trauma. This is a series for active learning around space holding in a trauma informed way. Because of this, we will not deep dive into the studies of trauma in an academic manner. We will topically review high level points on trauma + stress, but each attendee is responsible for navigating deeper learning in a way that aligns for their path.

This multi-part series is for humans dedicated to facilitating blended wellness spaces in ways that cultivates safety through an intersectional body-centered approach.

ABOUT THE SERIES:

SPACE is a container for intentionally learning, unlearning, relating, reciprocity, and evolutionary integration for humans who hold space across a variety of professions.

Through this series, we aim to:

  • Gain a deeper connection and reflection with how to hold space differently with integrity

  • Expand perspectives, care, and tools in support of groups of people

  • Build a standard of care for facilitation in group and 1:1 sessions that amplifies congruency throughout the spaces we occupy and the larger collective

  • Strengthen the ways we create a shared sense of safety for our local and global collective communities

  • Increase the ways our facilitation empowers people to seek support, connection, and build community

  • Share knowledge in how to enable others to design their own embodied sense of safety each time they enter into a room

  • Decrease the need for guardedness, fear, or defense that can arise in wellness spaces, especially when bringing together a variety of identities, lived experiences, and cultural beliefs

DETAILS & WHAT TO EXPECT:

SPACE will will meet every other week for the duration of your series. There will be prep & reflection work, group circles, and a group chat for connection and support.
